Jewels inspired by Goddess Athena to soon be created

As I was reading the book of Denise Linn “Secrets and mysteries”, I thought about which Goddess I would want to connect with. Athena came strongly into my mind. When I was a child, I was passionate about Ancient Greece mythology, and Athena was my favourite amongst Greek Gods. I figured it could be that she is a great warrior. It could be that the animal accompanying her is an owl (also an animal that fascinated me as a child). By searching a bit more about her, I actually discovered she was the Goddess of goldsmiths and artisans. Now that is something!

I oftentimes have created asking the guidance of angels, and when I remember to ask, sure enough the result of a piece is pretty good! Now I would like to experiment with connecting with the etheric Spirit of Athena, and see what comes from being inspired by a powerful feminine symbol.

Can you feel the energy of your crystals?

I find it fascinating that each crystal emits a very unique energy. I am able to feel energy just through my fingers and/or palm, and even two similar crystals can emit a totally different energy. For example, I have two celetite clusters, yet both feel totally different. The first one makes me feel like my whole etheric body expands when I hold it (and that my physical lungs double in size when I inhale), whilst the other one just has that very electricity-like feel to it, or as if I can feel my blood rushing in all the tiny vessels inside my fingers when I hold it.

Guess which is which? ;)

I have a small piece of kunzite which emits a very strong energy, a very hot energy. It will actually numb my hand all over when I hold it. And all I’m left to feel is my etheric hand :) .

I have an amethyst point that feels like a heartbeat.

And a phantom quartz that once tingled and numbed my whole arm, up to my head.

I also had a little hold of a larimar cabochon (which I have since set for one of my creations) which made all my upper body feel hot (and that happened on a cold day) and seemed to have opened my third eye like no other crystal ever did. This actually might be for an other post about what crystals can “do”.

I’m really wondering what these crystals are trying to “tell” me when the communication works by vibration. Has anyone had a similar experience? And if so, what did you do/learn?

2011 a year of challenging changes

Hi all!

I am so excited about what this year is going to bring. New creations, more advanced wiring techniques, a broader spectrum of clients and experiences. I am now offering my creations for sale on both eBay and Etsy. I am continually trying to improve on all fronts: designs, techniques, marketing and so on. And as a full time mother of a baby and a toddler this is quite a challenge, as I learn everything by myself, from the creation part to the marketing part. I’m so glad with how things are going and so grateful to learn more and more every day. There is not a single day that I don’t learn something new and try out something new. Today I managed to make my own store banner and added the Etsy tab to my fan page. All by myself ;) . I’m nowhere near a “computer nerd” but I sure am becoming one as I go along :) .

 

I hope all of you also are one with the energy of this year and enjoying your creativity fully at work, whatever work you might be doing (and I trust that whether you are an entrepreneur or not, there’s always room for creativity!).
